ACAP Humber Arm Freshwater Quality Monitoring: Newfoundland and Labrador

Map and Visualize

Freshwater monitoring serves an important role in observing any noticeable change in water quality, in any tested body of water. ACAP Humber Arm has monitored water quality throughout the Humber Valley watershed of western Newfoundland since 2014, and it beginning to establish water monitoring sites within other regions of Newfoundland and Labrador. This comprehensive water quality database serves as a baseline dataset to provide future assessments of changes in water quality for these regions. This initiative has been made possible due to the Support from the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment.
