The Kensington Conservancy

The Kensington Conservancy is collection water quality data in the St. Joseph Channel area of Lake Huron. Water quality data are collected using tools in the Water Rangers Compact Freshwater Test Kit, including portable probes and test strips. Long term trends are tracked and logged on the Water Rangers data platform.

Data Collection Information

Samples taken using Water Rangers Compact Freshwater Explorer kit. A digital probe is used to collect temperature and conductivity data from a triple rinsed surface water sample. pH, Alkalinity, Chlorinity, and Hardness obtained from Taylor test strip test.

QA/QC performed by Water Rangers staff or volunteers.
