The Mikisew Cree First Nation Elders have direct experience of negative environmental changes in the Peace Athabasca Delta and have instructed and guided water quality monitoring through their Traditional Knowledge. Community 'Guardians' sample weekly using the best available science and Traditional Knowledge.
