A Greener Future

Water quality data are collected using tools in the Water Rangers Compact testkit and Freshwater Explorer testkit, including portable probes and test strips. Long term trends are tracked and logged on the Water Rangers data platform.

Data Collection Information

Samples taken using Water Rangers Compact Freshwater Explorer kit and Freshwater Explorer test kit. A digital probe is used to collect temperature and conductivity data from a triple rinsed surface water sample. pH, Alkalinity, Chlorinity, and Hardness obtained from Taylor test strip test. We also collect dissolved oxygen field test using a Chemetrics ampules. Clarity and depth is obtained via secchi depth.
