Belleisle Watershed Coalition Water Quality Monitoring

The water quality monitoring program conducted by the Belleisle Watershed Coalition aims to determine the water quality within the Bay and watershed for community interest and partnerships, and to guide potential restoration initiatives. Water quality data is collected through field measurements with probes and data loggers and grab samples are sent to RPC for laboratory analysis.

Data Collection Information

A YSI Professional Plus handheld probe is used to collect field data at all the sample sites. Additionally, grab samples are collected for analysis at the RPC laboratory for the surface water package (nutrients, chemical parameters, and metals) and E.coli.
