Executing a long-Term Watershed Monitoring Plan for the West and East Fundy Composite Watershed

Map and Visualize

The long-term monitoring plan developed for the combined West and East Fundy Composite Level 1 watershed aims to start a baseline dataset for water quality in the West and east Fundy Composite as well as the creation of a standardised monitoring plan for use by other organizations to allow for comparable data. Water quality data is collected via YSI Professional Plus instruments as well as more in depth laboratory analysis.

Data Collection Information

A YSI probe (Professional Plus Quatro cable) is used to collect data on physio-chemical parameters at all sampling locations. Additional chemical and contaminant parameters are collected via water collection on site and processed in laboratory facilities.
