The Adaptive Monitoring on the Winnipeg River project is a collaboration between IISD and Aquatic Life ® to explore the use of high-frequency sensors that deliver data in near real-time via satellites and mobile data networks to better understand freshwater.

Data Collection Information
Data is collected on an hourly basis using AquaHive networked data loggers. The AquaHive is equipped with an In-Situ Aqua TROLL multi-parameter sonde and a s::can spectro::lyser v2 spectral sensor.

Sensor errors may occur. In some cases, erroneous data was removed, but more recent data may not have been checked for sensor errors or drift. Missing data points may also correspond to periods where the sensors were removed for the winter or for calibration.
