Canaan-Washademoak Watershed Association Water Quality Dataset
CWWA has been monitoring water quality for over 20 years; we have followed the Province of New Brunswick’s methods for monitoring *B and E. Coli, installed data loggers to measure temperature, and established 23 long-term monitoring sites. We attempt to sample every two years, and have selected a subset of 10 monitoring sites based on availability of funding for our work.

Data Collection Information
A YSI probe is used to collective data on physio-chemical parameters at all sampling stations (n=10 to 23). A YSI 9500 is used to test to additional chemical parameters, including nitrate, nitrite, and organophosphorus. Hoskins Tidbit data loggers are installed at 10 sampling stations in June and removed in October to monitoring water temperature (interval = 30 minutes).
1997-2018 samples were collected and submitted to Provincial lab for analysis (1997-2016); after Provincial lab class, (2017-) samples were submitted to RPC laboratory in Fredericton, NB.
