CIMP 177: The influence of forest fires on metal deposition to lakes and peatlands in the North Slave Region, NWT

A study funded by NWT CIMP (Project 177) was conducted to investigate the impact of forest fires on metal deposition to lakes and peatlands in the North Slave Region. The purpose was to address concerns about the impacts of forest fires on water quality in the NWT.

Data Collection Information

A YSI (Professional Plus) probe was used to collect data on physio-chemical parameters (calibration: YSI 6 series manual using standard solutions). Additional chemical parameters were assessed via grab sample sent for laboratory analysis.
